Project Description

Challenge: Our client, a large social services organization, had an email mess on its hands – individual departments had their own email service with no integrated collaboration tools; users in different areas used many different versions of Microsoft Office or other tools.

 

Solution: EIS initially worked with the organization to upgrade all staff to the same version of Office and deploy an in-house Microsoft Exchange server, which allowed for a single domain, unified webmail, and integrated collaboration tools such as shared calendars, tasks, and contacts. Several years later, as Office 365 matured, EIS migrated the organization to the cloud.
